“I have been hosting Filipino Suppers in London since 2013 with a few Pop up Residencies too. I usually cook a 4 course homely Filipino meal and host the dinners in London or a Boodle feast which is a hands on dining experience”

What is a Boodle Feast?
Popularly know as ‘boodle fight’ or ‘kamayan’ eating style from the Philippines. It was made popular by the Philippine military, when signalled ‘kain na tayo’ meaning lets eat. The soldiers eat a much and as quickly as they can making it a fight for their food due to the severity of the war conditions unless it’s a commemorative or victory meal. If you miss out you have to wait for the next spread.
Boodle fight is not a traditional way of eating in the Philippines but ‘kamayan’ meaning eating with your hands has always been Filipinos way of eating , dating back Pre-Spain until cutleries were introduced to the country.
