We don’t celebrate Diwali but occasionally we get invited to one, which is nice. Great company and awesome spread of food.
I love chaat, there’s so many different ways in making this snack and they are all soo good. It can be very addictive too. I have ordered this in restaurants when it’s on the menu, it’s great starter to wet your appetite.
I hope you enjoy this recipe, if you do make it please let me know what you think. I would love to hear from you.

Instructions
Once the potatoes have cooled down. In a large bowl or container add chickpeas, boiled potato, tomatoes, coriander, 100ml of the yoghurt, tamarind chutney, chilli powder, chaat masala and salt. Mix them all well together, give it a taste and add more seasoning to your taste. If you like it more spicy, you can add more chopped chillies.
To assemble the platter, add some of the remaining yoghurt on top of the board, spreading it in a circular shape. Add the mixed chat on top; arrange it evenly flat. Next, using a spoon add the rest of the yoghurt, arrange it nicely, then some green chutney and spread some tamarind chutney on top. Lastly top it with some fresh pomegranate and crush some sev on top.
