Tilda Firecracker Rice - Food with Mae-11

Fire Cracker Fried Rice with Prawns

A Meal in Minutes!

Sometimes you don’t want to slave in the kitchen for a good meal and ordering food is too expensive.

Here’s a lovely recipe that my whole family enjoyed. I know it sounds too spicy but it actially isn’t that spicy. My youngest daughter who is not keen on spicy food loved this! I was pleasantly surprised that she enjoyed this meal.

I hope you will enjoy this recipe as much we have.

Let me know what you think.

Tilda Firecracker Rice - Food with Mae-11

1 packet Tilda Firecracker rice
100g prawns
3 stems spring onions (chop the bottom & top part separately)
4 garlic
50g butter
1 tablespoon oil
150g frozen peas
1 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon liquid seasoning
1 pinch black pepper
1 pinch salt

First, Season your prawns with salt and pepper. Heat some oil and butter in a pan. Cook your prawns on each side. Once the prawns turn orange/red, take out the prawns and leave it on the side for later.

Next, add the chopped bottom part of the spring onion, garlic and frozen peas and some water. Stir fry them for 1-2 minutes.

Add the firecracker rice into the pan. Season your rice with soy sauce, liquid seasoning and stir well. Put the rice on one, crack an egg on the other side, mix the eggs together until it’s cooked. Then, mix the rice and eggs together.

To finish your fried rice, put the prawns back into the pan and the rest of the spring onions. Stir fry for a minute and it’s ready to serve!
